My first post on the blog!

If you are looking at this blog, you were probably directed here because of my photography at Thunder Valley Dragways in Marion, SD.

To tell you about me:
I was hired as the Thunder Valley Dragways track photographer in 1978 by Jim Christensen. This was back in the heyday of drag racing, and Thunder Valley was one of the big dogs, as we held as many as 2  Winston points meets each summer, as well as the bracket finals for NHRA division 5.

I took lots of photos and worked on the stories for National Dragster and local newspapers.

I did the "Married with Children" thing for quite a few years, and now my kids are grown up, and I am back working at the dragstrip again.

I will try and post as many current photos and historical photos as I can...
and maybe some fun stuff...

I currently use a Nikon camera, but have used Kodak, Canon, and Sony as well.
